Kristina Kamaeva is a Russian-Canadian writer. Her favorite genres are fantasy, adventure, and romance.
Kristina was born in Verkhnyaya Tura, a remote town in Siberia, into a loving family of geophysicists. And then they all moved to the Russian Far East.
Her first book, The Last Princess of Númenor, was published in Khabarovsk in 2010.
Kristina spent five years in Bangalore, India, as a government scholar. She traveled to different cities in India, worked as an extra in movies and commercials, and met lots of interesting people.
Since 2010, Kristina has lived with her family in Vancouver, Canada.
She volunteered and worked as an English teacher for the Immigrant Service Society of BC and took part in lots of films and TV shows shot in Canada as a background performer and stand in.
In 2016, Kristina graduated from the Writing for Film and Television Program at Vancouver Film School.
She writes fairy tales, fantasy novels, romantic comedies, and short stories. Kristina wants to trigger positive emotions and share inspiring experiences with her readers. She has a dream that talented directors will one day turn her books into movies.
Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate
And though I oft have passed them by
A day will come at last when I
Shall take the hidden paths that run
West of the Moon and East of the Sun
